About

Kaitlin McDaid is an artist based in Portland Oregon. She is working towards her BFA at the University of Oregon. Her areas of interest include illustration and graphic design. She has familiarity with adobe softwares and procreate. Kaitlin has found a love for the outdoors through her time as a girl scout and exploring the PNW with her family. This shines through in her art which often takes inspiration from Portland’s local flora and fauna.

Kaitlin has worked and volunteered in child care and early education throughout high school finding a love for education and working with kids.

Her goal is to find a career in picture book illustration, and someday author/illustrate her own book.
